Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry to join our team. As a Housekeeper/Laundry, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our hotel rooms and ensuring that all laundry is properly cleaned and organized. Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy hotel rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Ensure all bathrooms are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies
- Empty trash cans and replace liners
- Replenish towels, linens, and other amenities as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items according to hotel standards
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers and dryers
- Inspect laundered items for quality control before returning them to guest rooms
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry area and equipment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry heavy loads as required
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
