The Part-Time Maintenance position, assists in the completion of the day-to-day activities involving the maintenance of the building/facility, equipment and machinery, including HVAC, building lighting systems, ovens, grounds keeping, security and overall facility appearance. This position supervises and coordinates the work of employees who repair and maintain building/facility, equipment and machinery.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to assisting with the following:
· Assists in Managing a preventive maintenance program within the confines of an annual budget. This includes all heating, air conditioning and maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment.
· Maintains the plans for fire evacuation and disaster response. Serves as the facility emergency response coordinator.
· Coordinates the environmental health and safety program and manages hazardous waste disposal programs.
· Maintains up-to-date records for all state, federal and insurance semi-annual and annual inspections.
· Assures resident safety
Qualifications:
· High school or trade school diploma.
