Start Date 03/01/2027 for the season.
AN ASSISTANT COACH DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES ARE (but not limited to):

Help bring fruition to the vision and competitive culture of the program

Build positive relationships with athletes, staff, and community

Assist in oversight of daily operations and organization

Contribute to the design of the team's mission, philosophy, and team strategy

Prioritize academic success along with athletic success

Develop an athlete development program and accountability for team success
-
Communicate expectations clearly and consistently
-
Develop recruiting and sustainability of rosters
-
Evaluate team and individual performance
-
Develop practice structure and game preparation
-
Assist with in-game decisions and adjustments
-
Represent the program with professionalism and sportsmanship

Assist athletes and family in planning for postsecondary goals

Continue growth and development in the craft of coaching via professional development
Qualifications:
Qualified coaching candidates will possess a valid Illinois teaching license, a substitute teaching license, or appropriate coaching certification valid for work in a public school (i.e., ASEP).
Salary and Benefits:
Stipend pay - Category IV (please see attachment). No additional benefits are associated with this position.
