Mazak Lathe Operator/ Programmer
Position Summary: Currently seeking a skilled Mazak Lathe Operator/ Programmer for immediate employment. Responsible for setting up, program and operating two Mazak Lathes on Days or Nights. Nights preferred. Must have at least 2 years of experience on CNC Lathe. Preference for Mazak/ MAZATROL experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Set up, program and operate two Mazak Lathes on Days or Nights. Use MAZATROL interface to program and set up machine to blueprint. Analyze blueprints and understand the sequence of operations required in Mazak lathe to complete part per internal process routing. Expected to set up and program several short runs of 2 to 25 pieces per shift. Locate and touch of various tooling such as boring bars, OD inserts, groove/ cut off tool, insert and twist drills, threading inserts (ID/OD). Hold tight tolerances and bore jaws when needed.
Live axis tooling experience in Mazak Lathe is a plus.
Turning tool steel such as M2, H13 and D2 is a plus.
