Operating Room RN Supervisor
Location: Rockford, IL
Salary: $44.10 - $61.53/hour + Sign-On Bonus
Our client is a leading healthcare organization seeking an Operating Room RN Supervisor to coordinate, supervise, and participate in the daily operations of a busy surgical services department. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, supporting staff development, and fostering collaboration among physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
What you'll be doing:
- Coordinate and supervise daily operating room operations.
- Direct the delivery of patient care to ensure quality outcomes.
- Foster positive working relationships among staff, physicians, and leadership.
- Support staffing, workflow management, and departmental operations.
- Assist in maintaining high standards of patient safety and patient experience.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve department goals.
What you'll need:
- Active Illinois RN License.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current BLS certification.
- 3-5 years of Operating Room experience.
- At least 2 years of progressively responsible OR experience.
- At least 1 year of Charge Nurse experience.
- Comfortable working across multiple surgical specialties.
- Candidates must not have applied directly to the healthcare system within the last two years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
