Position Summary
Responsible for transporting and delivering a variety of products. Responsible for the safety and inspection of the vehicle before, during and after operation. May be responsible for loading and unloading shipments. Handles special projects, as assigned.
Essential Functions
- CDL Required
- Perform daily truck inspections and abide by all DOT regulations and reporting requirements, including electronic logging.
- Transport materials and equipment from site to site as requested.
- Take direction from site superintendents on activities performed at work sites.
- Maintain capital equipment, including cleanliness and basic maintenance.
- Load and unload equipment and mats from truck as requested.
- Ensure loads are properly and safely secured to DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations in concurrence with NMIS' policies and procedures.
- Additional duties as needed or directed by supervisor and/or manager.
- Work schedule can be up to 7 days a week with hours extending beyond 8-5.
- Must pass pre-employment screenings.
- Experience driving a semi, pulling a one ton with skid steer or other heavy equipment.

Education & Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or educational equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience driving trucks preferred
- Hauling heavy construction or farming equipment a highly preferred.
- Experience driving lowboy a plus not required.
- Valid driving license required.
- Valid CDL A license required.
- Basic knowledge of regulations for the transportation of products and materials being transported.
- Experience driving a 18 speed and a 1 ton hauling a 40ft gooseneck trailer is HIGHLY PREFFERED
