the Post Doctorate Neuropsychology/Psychology Position

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled mental health professional, postdoctoral fellow, —with specialized experience in neuropsychological and psychological assessment and treatment. This role focuses on supporting individuals who experience cognitive and mood symptoms following traumatic brain injury (TBI). You will use neuropsychological assessments, psychological assessments, and evidence-based cognitive rehabilitation treatments such as CogSMART and CogMED to facilitate therapeutic progress and enhance cognitive functioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment & Evaluation: Administer and score comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological testing batteries.
- Conduct in-depth clinical interviews.
- Write professional evaluation reports for both psychological and neuropsychological assessments.
- Provide CBT and post concussive cognitive rehabilitation Therapeutic Services
- Lead individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients with post-concussive symptoms, using the CogSMART curriculum.
- Provide weekly, individualized cognitive strategy training/coaching sessions with feedback, focusing on computerized attention and short-term memory training (e.g., CogMED).
- Complete templated clinical progress notes, with the option to work remotely.
Qualifications
- PhD trainee, postdoctoral fellow, or Master's level candidat in psychology
- Experience with the administration and scoring of neuropsychological/psychological assessments.
- Proficient in clinical report writing and documentation.
- Strong interest or background in treating TBI / post-concussive patients.
- Demonstrated competence in cognitive training and group therapy interventions.
- Exceptional written communication and clinical reasoning skills.

- Sessions and coaching provided both in person and remotely.
- Clinical documentation duties can be performed remotely.
- Evaluations conducted in person and online, depending on patient needs.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
