We are seeking a highly motivated Continuous Improvement Quality Manager to lead operational excellence and cost-reduction initiatives for HSIO OverPass products. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, supplier quality, and quality-system enhancements across global manufacturing operations. The position will focus on improving profitability, manufacturing performance, and product reliability while maintaining the highest standards of quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
This position is based in Valley Green, Pennsylvania, and involves collaboration with both domestic and international manufacturing sites.

Define and execute the global Continuous Improvement roadmap aligned with quality and business objectives.

Lead cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and structured problem-solving methodologies.

Facilitate formal root-cause analyses and implement effective corrective and preventive actions to drive sustainable, long-term improvements.

Foster a culture of operational excellence across manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain organizations.

Identify process inefficiencies and implement scalable, sustainable improvements across global manufacturing operations.

Develop, monitor, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to scrap, rework, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), yield, cycle time, and cost of poor quality (COPQ).

Lead cost-reduction initiatives focused on productivity improvement, waste elimination, process optimization, and material cost reduction.

Identify and execute opportunities to reduce labor, scrap, supplier-related, and manufacturing costs while maintaining product quality and reliability.

Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams on value-engineering and design-for-manufacturing initiatives.

Support quoting, margin improvement, and capacity-expansion efforts through operational and quality improvements.

Track, validate, and report realized cost savings and operational performance improvements.

Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to operations teams, engineers, and manufacturing personnel supporting HSIO OverPass manufacturing sites.

Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Supplier Quality, and Product Quality teams to proactively identify and mitigate manufacturing and quality risks.

Lead investigations related to yield excursions, process deviations, material changes, supplier changes, and field-return trends.

Drive the standardization of manufacturing processes, inspection methodologies, and quality practices across global manufacturing locations.

Coach and train teams on Lean and Six Sigma tools, structured problem solving, process controls, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Promote accountability, employee engagement, and a proactive quality culture throughout the organization.

Lead initiatives to improve quality inspection methodologies, defect-detection capabilities, and overall manufacturing-process effectiveness.

Evaluate and optimize in-process and final-inspection strategies to reduce escapes and strengthen prevention systems.

Apply structured quality methodologies, including DMAIC, 8D, statistical analysis, SPC, MSA, PFMEA, and control plans, to drive sustainable improvements.

Strengthen process controls, sampling plans, inspection criteria, and measurement-system effectiveness across manufacturing operations.

Utilize data-driven analyses to improve process capability, reliability performance, cycle time, and overall cost of quality.

Champion advanced manufacturing quality systems and state-of-the-art inspection technologies to position HSIO OverPass products at the forefront of manufacturing excellence and reliability performance.

Additional responsibilities include:

Establishing, monitoring, and communicating KPIs related to operational performance, inspection effectiveness, reliability trends, and corrective-action closure.

Presenting continuous-improvement progress, business impact, and operational-performance updates to leadership teams.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
-
Five to eight years of experience in manufacturing operations, quality, or operational-excellence leadership roles.

Demonstrated leadership experience in quality management and continuous improvement within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Proven success leading cross-functional teams across multiple geographies, including international manufacturing locations.

Experience supporting or collaborating with Asia-based manufacturing operations is strongly preferred.

Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DMAIC, 8D, and structured problem-solving methodologies.

Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.

Proficiency with Minitab or similar statistical-analysis software.

Strong understanding of technical drawings, product specifications, and GD&T interpretation.

Knowledge of semiconductor, interconnect, cable-assembly, or high-speed connector manufacturing processes preferred.
