Maintenance Mechanic, Heavy Industrial
Heavy industrial concrete pipe manufacturing plant is looking for you to join our experienced maintenance team, in well maintained 20-year-old facility located in Frederick, MD. We are looking for seasoned mechanics and/or candidates looking to expand their work experience in the mechanic field. Year-round work M-F, dayshift. Pay based on experience. OT during busy season.
Duties:
· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on heavy industrial machines
· Maintain steel mold equipment used in the fabrication of our product.
· Maintain aggregate and concrete conveyors, hoppers, screws, dust collectors
· Fabricate improvements to production processes, facility, and machinery
· Experience welding (stick and/or mig) or desire to learn
· Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes, and bearings
· Knowledge of rigging and movement of large equipment safely
Requirements:
· Previous mechanical experience
· High school diploma or GED
· Knowledge of industrial electrical or PLC a plus
· Must pass pre employment drug test
