Job Summary
Join the Vanitea Café team as a Barista and help create memorable experiences through thoughtfully crafted drinks and genuine hospitality. In this fast-paced role, you’ll prepare our signature milk teas, fruit teas, coffee drinks, and specialty beverages while providing warm, efficient service to every guest.
We’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented team members who take pride in quality, cleanliness, teamwork, and creating an inviting environment that keeps guests coming back.
Responsibilities
- Prepare milk teas, fruit teas, coffees, and other specialty beverages according to Vanitea’s recipes and presentation standards
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and provide attentive and efficient service
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process payments accurately
- Maintain consistent drink quality, portioning, appearance, and speed of service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper ingredient-handling procedures
- Keep the bar, customer areas, equipment, and workstations clean and organized
- Restock cups, ingredients, toppings, and supplies throughout the shift—especially before busy periods
- Complete assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work responsibilities
- Communicate clearly with teammates and support the team during rushes
- Learn menu items, ingredients, customizations, and preparation procedures
- Follow Vanitea’s workplace policies and contribute to a positive, respectful team culture
Qualifications
- Previous café, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience is preferred, but not required
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with guests
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to arriving ready for scheduled shifts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and procedures consistently
- Able to learn quickly, accept feedback, and work collaboratively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Must meet all applicable food-handler and employment requirements
