Responsibilities
- Process payroll using IS systems such as ProCore and UKG, ensuring timely and accurate employee compensation.
- Maintain and update HRIS (Human Resources Information System) records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Oversee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries from employees.
- Perform account reconciliation and prepare journal entries related to payroll and benefits to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Support general ledger accounting activities by preparing reports related to payroll and benefits, and other financial data.
- Conduct data entry for payroll related transactions, benefit records, and employee information with precision and attention to detail.
- Assist in compliance with governmental regulations related to payroll taxes, reporting requirements, and construction accounting standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience with payroll management software such as Quickbooks or UKG.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Familiarity with financial software like QuickBooks, NetSuite or similar platforms used for corporate accounting purposes.
- Demonstrated ability in data entry accuracy and handling high-volume transactions efficiently.
- Experience in benefits administration and understanding of human resources processes.
- Knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll taxes and other reporting requirements.
