Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Tumbling/Acro Dance Teacher to join our expanding faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and gymnastics/tumbling/acro, with the ability to inspire and educate students of all ages. This role involves creating engaging weekly class lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting a love for dance. In addition this candidate will have qualifications to spot all levels of dancers in tumbling/acro skills.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cater to the needs of students at different skill levels.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively, promoting respect, cooperation, and enthusiasm among students.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and confidence in dance.
- Utilize classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and focus during lessons.
Skills
- Excellent lesson planning abilities that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Proficient in classroom management strategies that create a positive learning environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience teaching dance and/or tumbling/acro
- Qualified to spot exercises and tricks
