Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Pawtucket Falls Healthcare Center is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant who will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapy treatments, assist with resident rehabilitation plans, and support the overall therapy department. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent care.
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Rhode Island
Current CPR certification (preferred)
Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising PT
Assist with implementing individualized care plans
Document resident progress accurately and in a timely manner
Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members
Support residents in achieving functional goals
Maintain a safe and supportive environment during therapy sessions
