We're looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter who enjoys taking ownership of projects, leading by example, and producing work they're proud to put their name on. What You'll Do
As our Lead Carpenter, you'll oversee our remodeling projects from start to finish while ensuring every detail meets our high standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead residential remodeling projects including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, and whole-home renovations
- Perform and oversee framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry installation, door and window installation, trim work, and general carpentry
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans
- Coordinate daily activities with management, subcontractors, and crew members
- Maintain organized, safe, and efficient job sites
- Ensure work meets company quality standards and applicable building codes
- Identify and solve job-site challenges with practical solutions
- Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout each project
- Mentor apprentices and less experienced carpenters
What We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential remodeling or carpentry experience
- Strong skills in framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry, trim, and general remodeling
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Experience leading projects or supervising crews
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Personal carpentry hand tools
