Duties
- Operate a wide range of heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers (dozers), loaders, backhoes, off-road haul trucks, and rollers to perform tasks such as excavation, grading, lifting, and material movement.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections on all equipment to ensure safety standards are met and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Assist with site preparation by leveling land, digging trenches, and setting foundations using precise GPS control and mechanical knowledge.
- Follow all safety protocols and construction regulations diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
- Collaborate with superintendents and crew members to coordinate tasks effectively and meet project deadlines.
Skills
- Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation in diverse environments.
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery including Caterpillar equipment models and other industry-standard brands.
- Skilled in operating multiple types of construction machinery including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, rollers, and farm machinery.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety procedures specific to construction sites involving heavy machinery operation.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and adhering to project plans.

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour
