HVAC/Refrigeration Technician Requirements:
- 3+ years of Commercial HVAC, Chiller and/or Commercial Refrigeration Experience required
- Complete knowledge and understanding of Refrigeration (NH3) ammonia system operations and controls required
- Must be part of the union or willing to join required

HVAC/Refrigeration Technician Responsibilities:
- Performing certain freezer repairs to include but not limited to replacing/repairing ammonia pumps, compressors, boilers, and control valves
- Check layout of existing refrigeration devices and air conditioning units to plan work procedures.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, and replacing faulty equipment and parts
- Obtain materials and supplies according to establish policies and procedures.
- Service machinery by cleaning, lubricating or replacing shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys and other parts
