Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator/Planner
Location: 100 Southern Drive, Camillus, NY 13031
Pay: $59K - $90k, Salary Non Exempt
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am-2pm
Our Maintenance Coordinator/Planner is a key member of our leadership team. This role will partner with maintenance leaders & corporate & external resources to schedule & support preventive & upset condition equipment maintenance.
This role will manage a large parts inventory, schedule machine downtime around production for preventative maintenance & support maintenance techs so they can focus on repairs. Accurate prioritization & tracking of work orders in our CMMS software is a critical part of this role as well as managing monthly maintenance spend. You will be responsible for day-to-day reviews & function as a liaison between maintenance & production to effectively schedule and coordinate planned maintenance work. Major Job Responsibilities:

Manage work order priorities & develop job plans. Leverage plant & corporate resources to ensure we are safely completing preventative maintenance & emergency repairs. You will maintain the backlog of work orders and move work orders to the ready-to-schedule phase, and review technician feedback upon work completion. Maintain the integrity of the date by ensuring correct coding and accurate job details.

Partner with Production Manager to ensure that plans and schedules align based on the availability of equipment to support the plant operations.

Incorporate safety requirements and JHA’s (Job Hazard Analysis) for all work orders and jobs to support and drive safe work behaviors.

Analize Data such as work order packet documentation from technicians to anticipate the number of man-hours and predict resources needed to close out future work orders.

Utilize J.D. Edwards CMMS for budget planning. Manage & track spend versus budget, identify variances, and provide explanations to justify deviations.

Using data, Identify & predict parts required for necessary maintenance efforts & verify stock or acquire inventory.

Plan and schedule any installation and startup of new equipment to minimize the disruption of normal operations.

Develop hands-on knowledge and expertise of production equipment, parts, functions and processes through observation and engaging with employees on the production floor.
Technical Skills:
- Industrial Maintenance Acumen
- Demonstrated experience planning and supporting preventative and breakdown response maintenance work.

Inventory & contractor sourcing experience.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & a strong familiarity with CMMS, JD Edwards preferred.

Working general knowledge of OEM technicians

Budget and maintenance spend management experience. Capital planning experience will be valued.
