Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and foster customer loyalty
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, processing payments efficiently and securely
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that reflect current trends and customer preferences
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; coordinate with management for restocking needs
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service operations to ensure seamless delivery of food and beverages during busy periods
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within the hospitality industry; fine dining or banquet experience is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and spirits expertise
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; ability to process cash handling and cashiering transactions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods effectively
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math for inventory management, and food safety knowledge
- Experience in beverage recipe development and understanding of food handling safety protocols
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special events such as catering or banquets
