Job Description:
We are currently looking for a motivated Skilled Technician to support the high growth ambitions. The candidate will be responsible for successful operations of manufacturing equipment used to package sealants and adhesives. Monday through Thursday 8 pm to 6:30 am.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment according to work instructions.
- Read and adhere to work instructions and coordinate the blending of materials per SOP.
- Ability to make mathematical evaluations in the appropriate portion of mixing chemicals and compounds using work instructions, scales, and basic math skills.
- Observe machine performance, inspecting output, and identifying and reporting any deviations from quality standards.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and 5S tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Maintain logs/records of production output, machine performance, and issues encountered.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with leadership team members.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, technical experience in a manufacturing setting a plus.
- Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to independently execute tasks and escalate issues as needed.
- Organizational Excellence: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, combined with strong project management capabilities to meet company deadlines and milestones.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Subject to environmental conditions; protection from weather but not temperature changes.
- Close Visual Acuity-work includes data/figures; view a computer screen; reading production orders.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds when required.
- Standing for long periods of time.
