Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee overnight operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and deliver outstanding guest services during the night shift. Your proactive approach will help maintain the safety, security, and satisfaction of our guests while supporting smooth hotel operations through meticulous auditing and guest communication.
Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs for late arrivals, providing friendly assistance with hospitality reservation systems and front desk procedures.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, resolve issues with customer service problem-solving skills, and deliver exceptional guest services aligned with hospitality standards.
- Monitor hotel security through CCTV surveillance, patrols, and emergency procedures to ensure guest safety and property integrity.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit summaries to facilitate seamless communication between night shifts and daytime staff.
- Handle phone communication with professionalism using proper phone etiquette while addressing guest needs or internal requests.
- Assist with hotel emergency procedures when necessary, ensuring all protocols are followed to safeguard guests and staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms used in hotel management.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for effective client communication across diverse guest populations.
- Strong customer service skills combined with excellent problem-solving capabilities to handle guest concerns efficiently.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, night audit processes, and resort experience will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person while maintaining professional hospitality standards.
