American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring Structural Heart and Impella experience with STEMI call responsibilities.
-
Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a hospital environment with 7 holding beds
-
Uses GE Innova and Impella equipment for cardiac procedures
-
Charting completed in MacLab and Meditech documentation systems
-
Unit performs TAVR, PFO, Atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, Impella/IABP, Implants, DCCV, and TEE procedures
-
Scheduled shifts run 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday

STEMI call required approximately 10-12 days per month

Self-scheduling available for staff

Floating required within the department, including EP and Stress lab

Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
-
Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required

Experience with Structural Heart procedures, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR preferred

Advanced skills in PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP required
-
No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

Provide direct patient care in a top-performing quality hospital offering open heart surgery and advanced cardiovascular services

Facility is an Accredited Chest Pain Center and Advanced Primary Stroke Center

Surgical scrubs are provided by the hospital
-
Team includes experienced staff and offers self-scheduling flexibility

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this position
