Job Title: Special Detail Officer

Overview:

As a Special Detail Officer, you will be responsible for preventing security breaches, responding to incidents promptly, and upholding a safe atmosphere for all.
Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols to secure the premises effectively
- Monitor and operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems
- Respond swiftly to alarms and security issues
- Enforce security protocols and regulations to uphold order
- Provide support and assistance to customers and staff when required
- Document detailed reports on security matters
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed
- Greet and screen individuals entering the site
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in security or a related field
- Proficiency in conflict management
- Possession of a First Aid certificate is advantageous
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies
- CPR certification is preferred
- Military background is a plus
- Competency in CCTV monitoring and surveillance techniques
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with others
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong attention to detail and keen observation skills
- Ability to remain composed and act efficiently during emergencies
- Capacity to stand or walk for extended periods
-Must be available between the hours of 7a-7p
- Must be punctual and appearance must meet PSE standards
