Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable management, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments using financial software.
- Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions, maintaining precise records in accounting.
- Support balance sheet reconciliation activities and account analysis to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare journal entries for various accounting functions including double entry bookkeeping and general ledger adjustments.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing procedures following GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards.
- Manage payroll data entry and support payroll management processes using systems like ADP.
- Assist with audit preparations, tax documentation, and compliance activities.
Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles such as debits & credits, journal entries, and account reconciliation
- Experience with financial software including ADP.
- Proficiency in Excel data analysis, data entry accuracy, and numeracy skills for effective account analysis and budgeting tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis efficiently.
- Strong math skills for account balancing, credit analysis, and financial concept application.
