We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints and specifications. This role involves fabricating and welding various components, ensuring adherence to industry codes and standards. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including stick welding, to fabricate metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment, including micrometers and cranes, to assist in the welding process.
- Ensure all welds meet industry codes and standards for quality and safety.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to verify adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Welder with proficiency in various welding techniques.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to welding practices.
- Ability to operate hand tools and equipment safely, including micrometers for precision measurements.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- A valid certification in welding is required - AWS (American Welding Society).

Pay: $23.37 - $28.14 per hour
