We are seeking a Florida-licensed Psychiatrist to serve as the Collaborating Physician to meet Florida statutory requirements (Fla. Stat. 464.012). This is an incredibly low-stress, low-time-commitment role designed to provide you with a steady stream of passive income. You will not be expected to see patients, manage daily operations, or prescribe medications.
What You Will Do (The Commitment):
- Sign the Protocol: Sign a standard Florida Board of Nursing Supervisory Protocol outlining the PMHNP’s scope of practice.
- Be Available for Consults: Be reasonably available via phone or secure message for brief clinical consultation in the rare event of a complex patient case.
- Chart Review: Perform a minimal monthly chart review (e.g., 10% of charts) via secure, remote EHR access to satisfy quality assurance standards.
- State Notification: Submit a simple Notice of Intent to the Florida Board of Medicine within 30 days of the agreement.
What You Will NOT Do:
- You will not see or manage patients.
- You will not handle any billing, scheduling, or administrative overhead.
- You will not be treating high-acuity, crisis, or emergency room patients.
Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered medical license in the State of Florida (MD or DO).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Must carry your own active medical malpractice insurance policy that covers collaborative supervision of an APRN.
- Active DEA registration.
