We’re getting ready for our grand opening and looking for an experienced Pizza Cook who knows their way around a kitchen and takes pride in making great food.
If you have professional pizza or restaurant experience, can handle a busy kitchen, and want the opportunity to be part of a new pizzeria from the ground up, we want to hear from you!
-WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prepare, stretch, top, and cook pizzas to consistent standards
- Prepare dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients
- Cook additional menu items including sandwiches, burgers, salads, and appetizers
- Maintain quality, portion control, and presentation
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Complete daily kitchen prep and station setup
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients
- Help maintain kitchen equipment and supplies
- Work as part of a team to keep service running smoothly
- Help establish strong kitchen routines and standards as we launch
-WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You should have:
- Previous professional pizza or restaurant kitchen experience
- Hands-on experience making and cooking pizza
- Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
- Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability for some evenings and weekends
Extra experience with pizza dough, high-volume pizza production, or kitchen leadership is a plus.
-PAY: $16–$25/HOUR
Your starting pay will be based on experience, skill level, and responsibilities.
Experienced pizza cooks and chefs with strong kitchen skills may qualify toward the top of the pay range.
