Job Summary
Bonded Lash Bar is a lash salon company with 6 locations in New Jersey. We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients, manage appointments, and ensure a smooth operation of the front desk. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong customer service orientation, and proficiency in retail and cashiering duties. Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve our diverse clientele. The receptionist will also support merchandising, stocking, and product demos to enhance client experience and promote salon services.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service
- Manage appointment scheduling using POS systems and ensure efficient flow of clients
- Handle phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and assist with appointment bookings
- Process transactions accurately through cashiering, cash handling, and retail sales
- Upsell salon products and services to maximize revenue opportunities
- Conduct product demos and promote new offerings to clients
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, including merchandising and stocking shelves
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and product displays
- Support sales initiatives through effective communication skills and retail math techniques
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing questions or concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, grocery store, or customer service roles preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations
- Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette
- Supervising experience is a plus for leadership responsibilities in the front desk area
- Ability to perform upselling and merchandising effectively to enhance sales performance
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base
- Experience with product demos or retail demonstrations is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking and inventory management
- Friendly demeanor with a passion for providing outstanding customer service
