Immigration Attorney – Entry Level / Post-Bar Candidate
Location: In-person | Barrio Logan, San Diego, CA
Compensation: Competitive base salary + bonuses + benefits
Union Law Group is seeking a motivated, Spanish-speaking Immigration Attorney or Post-Bar Candidate to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who recently took or passed the Bar exam, or for an attorney with immigration law experience who is ready to develop a meaningful career representing immigrant communities.
We are looking for someone who is driven, compassionate, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a fast-paced immigration law environment.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will support and represent clients in a wide range of immigration matters, including:
- EOIR, BIA, AAO, Federal Court, and USCIS matters.
- Asylum, VAWA, U visas, removal defense, family petitions, waivers, naturalization, consular processing, and employment-based immigration cases.
- Drafting motions, pleadings, appeals, I-290B filings, RFE/NOID responses, briefs, declarations, and supporting legal documents.
- Preparing clients for interviews, hearings, and court appearances.
- Collaborating with attorneys, case managers, and legal assistants to move cases forward efficiently and professionally.
- Participating in community presentations, marketing initiatives, and business development efforts when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Recently took or passed the Bar exam, or has 2+ years of immigration law experience.
- California Bar admission preferred.
- Spanish fluency required.
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to appear in court, attend USCIS interviews, and travel when required.
- Passion for immigrant rights, access to justice, and client advocacy.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to grow with the firm.
Preferred Experience
Experience in business immigration is a plus, including TN, E-1, E-2, L, O, H-1B, EB-2 NIW, and related employment-based matters.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
