This Role Is Not for Everyone. It Might Be Perfect for You.
Fresh Orthodontics is a doctor-owned practice in Park Slope, Brooklyn. We run a tight, high-quality clinical day using Spark Clear Aligners, iTero digital scanning, in-house 3D printing, 100% impression-free, and fully paperless. No corporate oversight. No revolving door of providers. The same doctor, the same team, every visit.
We are looking for a Clinical Assistant who genuinely loves this work, not someone who tolerates patients between tasks, but someone who lights up when a nervous kid sits down, who makes a parent feel like their child is in good hands before a single word of clinical explanation begins.
If that energy is natural to you, you will fit here.
What You Will Do
Chair-side assisting for braces and Spark Clear Aligner procedures
Digital scanning with iTero, intraoral photos, and impressions
Support wire changes, aligner checks, and patient education
Deliver post-care calls and instructions with clarity and warmth
Maintain operatory cleanliness and sterilization protocols
Work entirely within a paperless clinical system
What We Need From You
NYS X-ray certification – required
Orthodontic or dental assisting experience; strong dental assistants with ortho exposure are welcome
Genuine warmth with patients, especially kids, teens, and anxious adults
Reliable work history and a team-first orientation
Comfort in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment
Coachable - you ask questions, take feedback, and improve
What You Get
$22-$28/hr based on experience
Monday through Friday, approximately 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
No nights, no weekends
PTO, paid holidays, and 401(k) with employer match
Free orthodontic treatment after one year, plus family discounts
Paid uniforms
Ongoing clinical development through in-house training
A doctor who invests in his people and a team that actually enjoys coming to work
Location
Park Slope, Brooklyn – steps from the F, G, and R lines and Atlantic Terminal. Accessible from Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens.
How to Apply
Submit your resume along with a short note – two to three sentences – telling us what you love about working with orthodontic patients and what you bring to a team that holds both clinical standards and culture to a high bar. Applications without a note will not be reviewed.
