Reach Me, Inc. is seeking a dependable, organized, and compassionate Community Engagement Coordinator to oversee our community-based program serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, coordinating activities, leading staff, and creating meaningful opportunities for individuals to engage in their community.
The Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the program, participant safety, staff communication, activity planning, and administrative responsibilities. This position reports directly to the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily program operations and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of participants.
- Maintain open and professional communication with participants, families, guardians, staff, and other members of the individual's support team.
- Plan and coordinate engaging community-based activities, outings, and socialization opportunities for participants.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with individual needs, organizational expectations, and applicable Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) requirements.
- Respect and protect the rights, dignity, choices, and independence of every participant.
- Complete required administrative duties, documentation, reports, and other assignments accurately and on time.
- Provide guidance and support to program staff and help ensure staff are following company policies and procedures.
- Participate in staff recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and retention efforts as assigned.
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and hosting organizational programs, special events, and community activities.
- Attend meetings, trainings, community events, and other activities related to the organization and the individuals we serve.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
- Maintain a safe, organized, welcoming, and positive program environment.
- Communicate concerns, incidents, staffing needs, participant changes, and other important matters to the Executive Director in a timely manner.
- Perform additional duties as necessary to support the program and organization.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
