We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our cleaning team. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures to maintain a spotless appearance
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
- Follow established safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to supervisors for prompt resolution
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and prioritize tasks efficiently throughout each shift
- Maintain detailed records of completed cleaning activities and supplies used
Qualifications
- Willingness to work a set schedule. While we offer a relative amount of flexibility when initially creating schedules for individual employees, we are looking for employees who can commit to a regular weekly schedule.
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and thoroughness in all cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning motions throughout the shift
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service
