We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy kitchen in a private hospitality venue. This role focuses on organizing the kitchen, creating efficient systems, managing workflow, coordinating staff, handling inventory and ordering, and maintaining cleanliness and consistency. The Kitchen Manager will ensure smooth kitchen operations, uphold safety standards, and support the culinary team in delivering exceptional service. This position is not an executive chef role but requires strong organizational skills and hands-on leadership to maintain a well-run kitchen environment.R
Responsibilities:
- Organize and oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Develop and implement systems for workflow management, sanitation, and safety.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and receiving deliveries.
- Maintain organized storage areas, walk-ins, freezers, prep stations, and equipment.
- Supervise staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met throughout the kitchen.
- Coordinate with culinary staff to support both banquet and à la carte service.
- Monitor food quality and presentation standards.
- Work closely with management to support member dining experiences and special events.
- Control labor costs while maintaining high operational standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing a busy kitchen or food service operation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to create systems that improve efficiency.
- Proven experience managing inventory, ordering supplies, and vendor relationships.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and high standards for cleanliness and organization.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
