Junior Business Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving business problems, and supporting operational decision-making in a fast-paced distribution environment.
As a Junior Business Analyst, you'll work closely with leadership, finance, operations, and sales teams to analyze inventory, sales, and financial data while helping improve reporting accuracy and business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze inventory, sales, and financial data to identify trends and support business decisions.
- Build, maintain, and enhance reports using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Support inventory reporting, including COGS, FIFO, and inventory tracking.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data across multiple reporting platforms.
- Assist with month-end reporting and other key operational deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and increase operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable business insights.
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analytical projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, finance, inventory, reporting, or a related analytical role.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage large datasets accurately.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Power BI is highly preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems or distribution environments is a plus.
