Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team in the hospitality industry. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during overnight hours. This position involves managing front desk responsibilities, performing nightly financial audits, and providing exceptional guest services. Ideal candidates will possess strong customer service skills and a background in hotel management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and effective phone etiquette.
- Assist guests with their needs, including room assignments and special requests.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Prepare reports for management regarding occupancy rates, revenue, and any discrepancies.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management with a focus on guest relations.
- Experience in hotel management or relevant hotel experience is preferred.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
- Proficient in night audit processes and procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for hospitality.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and multi-line phone systems.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
