A warm and welcoming family in Bolton, MA is seeking a reliable, experienced, and engaging nanny to care for their three children (ages 5, 3, and 4 months). They are looking for someone who is interested in building a long-term relationship and becoming an important part of their family's daily life.
Daily Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for the family's infant while the older children are at preschool, including bottle feeding, diapering, naps, and age-appropriate developmental activities.
- Follow the infant's feeding and sleep routines while responding to his individual cues.
- Transport the older children to preschool for 8:30 AM drop-off and 2:00 PM pick-up.
- Plan engaging, hands-on activities that encourage learning through play.
- Spend time outdoors with the children, including walks, playground visits, hikes, and other active adventures.
- Assist with light meal preparation and dinner prep for the children.
- Complete light household tasks related to the children during nap time, including children's laundry, tidying play areas, and cleaning up after meals and activities.
The family follows a Montessori-inspired approach and values creativity, independence, outdoor exploration, and imaginative play. They maintain a screen-free environment, so the ideal candidate will enjoy creating meaningful, hands-on experiences that foster curiosity, confidence, and development.
Transportation
The older two children attend preschool approximately 12 miles from the family's home.
The family has a truck available for transporting the children if the nanny is comfortable driving a larger vehicle. Otherwise, the nanny may use their own vehicle, which must safely accommodate three car seats.
A clean driving record is required.
