Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems with precision, following detailed schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Duties
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble components
- Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools to complete assemblies
- Measure parts with precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to ensure accuracy
- Perform fabrication tasks including welding, soldering, machining, and cutting as required for assembly projects
- Conduct manual handling of parts and assemblies safely while adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols
- Read and interpret technical drawings to guide assembly processes and ensure compliance with specifications
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment when moving materials or finished products within the facility
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly procedures
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Experience with mechanical assembly involving hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, welding, soldering, and machining
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately for fabrication and assembly purposes
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including fabrication, welding, machining, and soldering techniques
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and forklift operation is a plus
- Excellent manual dexterity combined with attention to detail for precise assembly work
- Understanding of safety protocols related to PPE use and manual handling in industrial environments
