About Us
Outdoor Influence Design & Build (oidesignbuild.com) is a residential design-build company specializing in custom gunite pools, hardscaping, outdoor structures, and landscaping across the Charlotte metro area in NC and SC. We manage every project from concept through completion, and we're growing fast. We're looking for a driven, organized Project Manager to join our team and help us deliver the high-quality outdoor spaces our clients expect.
What You'll Do
- Oversee day-to-day field operations across multiple active job sites (pools, hardscape, outdoor structures, landscaping)
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors — scheduling, quality control, and accountability
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is on schedule, on budget, and meets OIL's standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the field and ownership/office
- Identify and communicate scope changes, delays, or issues in real time
- Review project progress in our project management platform (JobTread) and keep job documentation current
- Ensure job sites remain safe, clean, and compliant
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of experience in residential construction field supervision or a related trade role
- Background in pool construction, hardscape, or outdoor structures strongly preferred
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and subcontractors simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills — you keep people informed and on task
- Comfortable using technology (smartphones, project management apps, email)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required — MVR will be reviewed
- Experience operating a skid steer or other heavy equipment a plus
- Some Spanish language ability is a plus but not required
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Based in or willing to commute to the Weddington/Charlotte metro area — projects span from South Charlotte to Troutman and beyond, so flexibility to travel across the region is required

Compensation & Perks
- $60,000–$65,000 salary — commensurate with experience
- Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit
- Performance milestone increases — upon successful completion of your 60-day and 180-day reviews, your salary will automatically increase based on performance

- Average 50–55 hours/week during busy season (spring through fall); lighter in winter — this is a role for someone who takes pride in putting in the work and getting the job done

Physical Requirements
This is primarily a supervisory role, but occasional physical work is part of the job. Candidates should be comfortable with intermittent heavy lifting — for example, helping unload material deliveries such as concrete or mortar bags. This is not a full-time labor position, but a willingness to get your hands dirty when needed is expected.
