We’re searching for a new cleaner for luxury short term rental in Lakeview. The space is 6 bed, 2 baths, 2600 sqft, with two sets of washers & dryers.
Turnovers take place, 1-2 per week during fall & winter and up to 3 times per week in the spring & summer. During these turnovers you’ll be responsible for four core tasks:
- Cleaning - Ensuring the space is professionally cleaned for each guest
- Staging - Placing furniture, decor, etc. precisely as instructed for each guest
- Reporting - Reporting when inventory is low (e.g. toilet paper, towels, etc.) or there is visible damage to be addressed by the property manager & maintenance team.
- Restocking - Stocking ordered inventory into the homes storage spaces
It’s extremely important that you are
- Reliable - Bookings are year round and can happen on any day - including holidays. It is extremely important that you or someone on your team can be available to handle turnovers. While most are scheduled weeks in advance, occasionally bookings can show-up with as little as 3 days notice.
- Responsive - You can expect to be contact with the property manager on a regular basis to make sure things run smoothly
- Semi-perfectionist - While the job is not complex - it does require you to pay attention to small details (i.e. hair, small stains, etc.) and remember the job is more than just cleaning.
Pay is $300 per turnover. Experience turning over short-term rentals or hotels is required. Must be located within Chicago, preferably on Chicago’s northside.
Pay: $50.00 per hour
