Warehouse Level II
Position Summary
The Warehouse Level II position is responsible for picking, packing and shipping of all orders daily. This position is responsible for ensuring that customers receive their orders timely, accurately and in pristine condition. This position will calculate all freight charges which has a direct impact on the billing to the customer. This position also assists with the removal of trash and materials to be shredded from the offices.
Responsibilities

Printing picking sheets and reviewing orders for key shipping instructions.

Pick inventory and ship orders to customers to meet a minimum goal of 175 shipments per day.

Verify accuracy of items picked and pack items into boxes, using spacers and protective padding.

Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Weigh shipping boxes, select freight method, affixing shipping labels on packed cartons.

Assemble packing boxes and materials in preparation for shipment.

Restock inventory on shelves.

Calculate freight quotes by determining the method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.

Prepare pallet shipments for tradeshows or customer demonstrations.

Participate in product cycle counting. Enter and verify quantities in the warehouse.

Assists with assemblies and returns as directed by manager and warehouse level III personnel.

Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; maintaining a clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

Education, Experience, and Skills

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience in warehouse setting desirable but not required

Time management skills

Proficiency with computers and the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is desirable

Commitment to learning and growing technical skills and knowledge

Adherence to safety protocols and company procedures.
