Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 5th Grade Teacher to inspire and guide young learners through a pivotal stage of their educational journey. Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards to promote active learning in subjects such as literacy education, math, science, and social studies.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that encourage respect, responsibility, and collaboration.
- Assess student progress regularly using formative and standardized testing methods; adapt instruction accordingly to meet diverse learning needs.
- Incorporate learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and support differentiated learning approaches.
- Provide mentorship and support to students with special education needs or those requiring early intervention strategies, including working with children with autism or other developmental challenges.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school activities, and school-wide initiatives to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and upcoming events; maintain detailed records of student achievements and behavior reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification for elementary education is required.
- Proven classroom experience working with elementary-aged children, especially in grades 4–6.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and literacy education techniques.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment strategies including standardized testing preparation.
- Familiarity with teaching physical education, library services, or working with individuals with autism is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to mentor students effectively and foster positive relationships.
- Knowledge of learning technology tools, behavior management techniques, and classroom management best practices.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $62,069.83 per year
