Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organize Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for greeting them warmly and ensuring they feel welcome. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff to coordinate service and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle phone inquiries and takeout orders with professionalism, providing information about menu items, specials, and reservations.
- Assist in managing waitlists during peak hours, ensuring guests are informed of wait times.
- Support food service operations by assisting servers as needed during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude in high-pressure situations.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service in the food service industry is essential.
