Job Summary
We're looking for an Associate Production Engineer to support manufacturing operations, process development, and continuous improvement initiatives for aerospace and industrial gas turbine components. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, improve quality and productivity, and support the introduction of new products and technologies that drive business performance.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide technical support for manufacturing operations and production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize manufacturing processes that meet quality, cost, performance, and delivery requirements.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and operational objectives.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to measure process and product performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, tooling, and equipment using lean manufacturing principles.
- Recommend and implement improvements that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Monitor daily quality and productivity results and respond to operational issues as they arise.
- Lead and support engineering projects from development through implementation and completion.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, procedures, and work instructions.
- Deliver presentations and communicate project updates to internal and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 0-3 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, production, or design environments.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and delivering results.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the aerospace industry.
- Experience working with high-temperature materials, superalloys, or related manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or design thinking methodologies.
- Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs, process optimization, and root cause analysis techniques.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, equipment, noise, heat, and industrial materials.
- Frequent walking throughout production areas and interaction with manufacturing personnel.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, and other protective gear as required.
- Ability to access and inspect production equipment, tooling, and work areas while adhering to all safety requirements.
This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
