Communications Coordinator

About the Position
The Bryan/College Station Regional Association of REALTORS® and Bryan-College Station Regional MLS are seeking a creative, organized, and member-focused Communications Coordinator to join our team.
This position plays an important role in how we communicate with and serve our REALTOR® members. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and communicator who enjoys creating engaging content, managing multiple projects, supporting events, and working with people.

What You’ll DoCommunications & Marketing
- Create and distribute newsletters, emails, announcements, and member communications.
- Manage Association social media platforms and develop engaging, relevant content.
- Create flyers, graphics, promotional materials, and consumer-facing campaigns.
- Gather, edit, proofread, and organize content from staff, committees, and leadership.
- Maintain a communications calendar to ensure timely promotion of programs, events, deadlines, and member benefits.
- Ensure messaging is accurate, professional, consistent, and engaging across all platforms.
- Help tell the story of the Association and demonstrate the value of REALTOR® membership.
Education & Events
- Coordinate Association New Member Orientation.
- Coordinate educational classes, including scheduling instructors, preparing materials, managing logistics, and communicating with attendees.
- Promote continuing education and other learning opportunities.
- Assist with planning and promotion of luncheons, meetings, networking events, and Association programs.
- Support member engagement activities and special events.
Committee & Affiliate Support
- Provide communication and administrative support to Association committees.
- Maintain committee information and attendance records in Tangilla.
- Assist with Affiliate communications, events, luncheons, and promotional materials.
MLS & Member Support
- Serve as backup support for MLS compliance and the MLS Help Desk.
- Assist members with basic MLS questions, troubleshooting, and system navigation.
- Provide friendly, professional assistance while knowing when to escalate complex issues to the MLS Director.
Website Support
- Serve as backup support for Association and MLS websites.
- Update events, classes, announcements, resources, and other website content.
- Help ensure online information remains accurate, current, and easy for members to find.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change.
- Experienced with social media, graphic design, email marketing, websites, or event coordination.
Real estate or REALTOR® association experience is a plus, but not required. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, communicates well, and can bring creativity and professionalism to the role.
