Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights
Location: Yuma, AZ
Salary: $39.93 - $51.91/hour + Shift Differentials
Our client is a growing healthcare organization seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses to join a fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department. This role offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population while working alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
- Assessing, prioritizing, and providing care to patients presenting with a wide variety of emergency medical conditions.
- Performing patient assessments, monitoring patient status, and implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administering medications, treatments, and emergency procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols.
- Collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Providing care for critically ill and injured patients in a dynamic emergency setting.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Educating patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions.
- Supporting quality, safety, and patient satisfaction initiatives throughout the department.
What you'll need:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department, Critical Care, or related acute care nursing experience.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
