American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week outpatient rehab assignment with inpatient coverage at a hospital-based setting in California, requiring a CA PT License and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

13-week contract

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program required

Active CA Physical Therapist License required; license required if applicable

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required

Experience in outpatient rehabilitation required; inpatient experience a plus

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing individualized physical treatment programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function

Develops and updates patient Plans of Care (POC) based on evaluation findings and ongoing assessment

Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team members and support staff

Provides clinical supervision to PT assistants and aides, and serves as clinical instructor for assigned students

Maintains accurate documentation including charge capture, evaluations, and EHR entries

Participates in quality improvement processes and interdisciplinary projects

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Former employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for this assignment
