Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and professional Leasing Consultant with apartment industry experience and working knowledge of AppFolio System. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and capable of converting prospects into residents while maintaining excellent service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist prospective residents in person, by phone, and online
- Conduct community tours and effectively present apartment features and amenities
- Process rental applications and lease documentation using AppFolio and Bluemoon
- Maintain accurate prospect and resident records in the system
- Follow up with leads to maximize occupancy rates
- Handle resident inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist with renewals, notices, and resident communications
- Support office operations and maintain a professional leasing environment
Required Qualifications
- Previous apartment leasing experience (minimum 2 year preferred)
- Experience using AppFolio Property Manager , Wix ( 1 )
- Strong sales and closing skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Basic knowledge of Fair Housing laws
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office setting
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Experience with resident retention strategies
- Knowledge of local market and leasing trends
