Duties
- Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to meet health and safety standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations.
- Support food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies or assisting with basic kitchen duties when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
- Help with catering events or banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure hygiene compliance.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen operations.
- Experience with bussing or food preparation is a plus; banquet or catering experience is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food service protocols is beneficial.
