Duties/Responsibilities:

Conduct initial assessments, inspections, adjust and repair systems to ensure they perform to maximum efficiency and conserve water

Identify areas of improvement in irrigation systems; conduct and record detailed inspections and complete upgrades as necessary for existing irrigation systems

Troubleshoot irrigation systems to determine repair needs; always represent the company’s best interest, uphold the highest level of integrity and professionalism

Gather, update and analyze data for each account regarding water sources, points of connection, mainline location, services performed, parts installed and water usage
-
Understand and meet production and maintenance schedule deadline without sacrificing excellent customer service and/or exceptional quality

Maintain and care for company equipment, tools, and vehicle

Physical Requirements:

Will work outdoors 85% of the time

Employee is required to stand, walk, crouch, stoop and/or kneel; employee will regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift

May be exposed to hazardous material, loud noise, and/or extreme heat/cold temperatures
Education and Experience:
-
2 year college degree preferred
-
3+ years of industry related experience required; military experience may be substituted to meet position requirements
-
Irrigation Technician/Landscape Irrigator License issued by TCEQ preferred
-
Must have a valid Texas Driver's License with a clean record
