We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and care to our clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing care and assistance with the activities of daily living in the home setting, hospital or facilities. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medications reminders to and monitoring to ensure that medications are taken as directed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Document client progress and any changes in health status accurately.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and emergency procedures in home care settings.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with geriatric care and the needs of older adults
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients as needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassion and understanding of the needs of clients with chronic illnesses
- Ability to provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Experience as a PCA, NA or CNA is preferred but not required. Training is provided.
