What you will do
As a Test Engineer at KEMA Labs, your main responsibilities will include:
- Lead test programs from start to finish-planning, setup, execution and analysis.
- Manage customer expectations and serve as their key point of contact throughout testing.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards (ANSI, IEEE, IEC, UL).
- Monitor test operations, provide technical guidance, and ensure personnel and equipment safety.
- Analyze test results and generate clear accurate reports to customers.
- Maintain strict adherence to KEMA Labs’ quality and compliance standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging testing technologies.
- Assess technical requirements for customer test programs and provide input on quotes.
- Collaborate with sales and customers to clarify scope, resolve issues, and finalize details.
- Step in as needed to support test operations hands-on.
- Help refines test procedures, enhance workflows, and implement new testing technologies.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, efficiency and execution
What you bring
We are looking for someone who:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC power circuits, calculations, and measurement equipment.
- Familiarity with power generation, transmission, and distribution.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This role demands adaptability, requiring individuals to navigate, shifting workloads, meet customer demands, and align with management priorities. Dedication is crucial to achieving both short-term and long-term organizational goals. While the position is exempt from overtime, occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary.
The work environment includes occasional exposure to industrial settings, such as machinery and outdoor conditions.
